When I discovered I was a highly sensitive empath (HSE) over 10 years ago – it was tough. I didn’t know what it meant – to take on other people’s energy. Heck, I thought, “Why would I be doing that?” 

I struggled for many years to understand and embrace that I was an HSE. Being too sensitive wasn’t something I wanted to openly share with others, because it’s often seen as a weakness.

But when I started to learn how to let go of everyone else’s energy – their sh!t – that’s when I started to notice I felt less anxious, less overwhelmed, and less exhausted. 

It was a huge turning point and it’s what helped me find my path to peace as a HSE.
