Today is Valentine’s Day, so I thought why not talk about love? We can all use reminders to love ourselves and others more – I know I can. I believe not loving ourselves is typically the root cause of a lot of the strife we experience in life.
When you are not loving yourself, it is difficult for other people to love you.
Signs that you are not loving yourself include:
- People-pleasing
- Being too hard on yourself
- Not taking care of yourself
- Not treating yourself with kindness
- Not setting healthy boundaries
- Not making yourself, and your needs a priority
- Minimizing, hiding how you really feel
- Looking outside of yourself for love before you feel you can love yourself
- And so much more…
Personally, I love a great quote. Sometimes the “right quote” at the “right moment” can magically shift how I am feeling and thinking – for the better.
Quotes can give us powerful messages and reminders.
It’s so interesting how I can hear and/or read a quote multiple times before it actually resonates and the message sinks in. Does this happen to you?
I believe that when we are ready to hear it – the message from a quote will sink in and make an impact.
So I thought I would share some great quotes about love in celebration of Valentine’s Day.
